Warehouse and Operations Manager
Eugene Martelli began his 25 year career in commercial moving at Neptune Moving & Storage where he worked as a helper, then as a warehouseman and then as a tagger on commercial relocations. When Neptune began working on hotel projects Eugene was promoted to foreman.
When Neptune closed its doors, Eugene was invited to join the staff of Skyline Moving & Storage where he assumed the role of warehouse foreman. It was during his tenure in this position that Eugene’s natural ability to organize information and systematize projects soon became apparent. He set up the company’s computer systems and reorganized its storage program.
Leaving Skyline after the untimely death of one of its principles, Eugene joined American Moving & Storage where he continued to develop his organizational skills.
He then joined the staff at Interior Resources Group (IRG) as Warehouse and Operations Manager. At IRG, he designed a computerized storage system that allowed the company’s clients to track receipt of their goods at the warehouse, review their inventory online and to inspect photographs of their stored FF&E. Later he added an online scheduling module that allowed clients to request delivery of selected FF&E.
