Brian Parker
Senior Executive
Brian Parker started his career in moving as a helper at Skyline Moving & Storage in New York City in 1990. Proving himself an outstanding worker, he quickly moved up the ranks to foreman. While a foreman at Skyline he ran the Bank of New York project at 100 6th Avenue in New York City and the Sedgwick James corporate relocation. Skyline was also where Brian ran his first major Furniture, Fixtures and Equipment (FF&E) project, the Sheraton Towers in New York City. He continued working at Skyline as its lead project manager, running projects for the company for 6 years.
After the untimely death of one of the principles of Skyline, Brian moved with the company’s remaining management to American Moving & Storage, a new company that specialized in servicing the FF&E requirements of hotels and high-end institutions. During his tenure at American, he became an integral part of the management team, running multiple projects around the country. Some of the clients he serviced at American included the Starwood Hotels and the Associated Press.
Brian left American Moving and Storage to become part of Interior Resources Group (IRG), where his role is that of a senior executive. His responsibilities at IRG include the management of multiple projects for the company within the United States and around the Caribbean Islands. Brian’s experience and management skills are one of the reasons that IRG has become a major presence in the delivery and installation of FF&E for hotels throughout the United States.
